Swiss National Park Commemorative Coin Series
The Swiss National Park is the most important nature reserve in our country. As the oldest and the most highly-protected National Park in the Alps, internationally the Swiss National Park also has a highly-esteemed reputation. It is one of our national symbols and is thus being honoured in a new series of commemorative coins from the Swiss Confederation. The Swiss National Park is to be found in the Engadin and Münstertal and covers an area of 170 km2. Here nature has absolute precedence, it must be able to develop in the long term in its own way according to its own rules without interference from man.
The National Park series from Swissmint shows four types of National Park inhabitant: the Ibex, the Golden Eagle, the Red Deer and the Alpine Marmot. You now have the opportunity to order this entire series.
