Press conference invitation: Swiss Earnings Structure Survey 2024
Neuchâtel, 20.11.2025 — How did wage levels differ by economic sector, groups of employees and region in 2024? What changes have there been between the highest and the lowest wages in recent years? What differences were observed between the wages of Swiss and foreign workers (residence permit holders)?
MThe initial results of the Swiss Earnings Structure Survey (ESS) 2024 enable the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) to respond to these questions. The ESS provides social partners and economic stakeholders with reference indicators to measure and analyse wage dynamics in Switzerland.
In the second part of the press conference, a commentary on these results will be given by representatives from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the Swiss Federation of Trade Unions (SGB/USS) and the Swiss Employers Confederation (SAV/UPS).
